If a passenger on a British Airways flight from London to Boston has a baby during the flight and lands in Halifax, NS (Canada), what is the baby’s country of birth?

    Jeeze, I clicked on that link and read the story thinking that the correct answer would be at the end. So, what is the answer? You mean I actually have to THINK about this? And, what if the correct legal answer was Canadian, and what if the parents hated Canada? Would the parents have the right to refuse the Canadian citizenship on behalf of their baby? Hmmmm …..

    I’m guessing US citizenship… Or does it default to the parents citizenship in that particular case? That’s so unusual. Why was she flying when she was that far along?
